Bid Notices
Beginning July 1, 2016, Jones County will post notice on this page of bidding opportunities for public improvement projects when the estimated cost of the project is expected to exceed the threshold established in Iowa Code Section 26.3, as adjusted. Visit the Iowa DOT website for more information on the dollar threshold.
In addition, the bid notices will be submitted to the Master Builders of Iowa for email distribution to its entire subscriber base.
Jones County may choose to also publish notice in various local publications and may solicit bids from applicable vendors, depending on the project.
Notices are required to be published on this site no fewer than 13 days and not more than 45 days prior to the bid filing deadline. See 2016 Senate File 2170.

Seeking Bids for Miscellaneous Items
The Jones County Board of Supervisors are seeking sealed bids for the following items. Items
can be viewed at the Jones County Auditor's Office at 500 W Main St. Rm. 113, Anamosa, IA.
Sealed bids are due in the Jones County Auditors office by 10AM on March 24th.
You may bid on as many or few items as you wish. The lamp post fixtures and plat maps are
on a per item basis. Please specify how many lamp fixtures and which plat map you want
based on the mat color.
Each item will be awarded to the highest bidder on the respective item. The number of items
you bid on has no influence on the awarding of bids. All items are being sold on an as – is
basis.
