Looking for a fun early-out Wednesday activity for your family? Visit the Central Park Nature Centers February come-and-go Early-Out Wednesdays special exhibit featuring “Birding Fun” with interactive educational displays and activities on “Backyard Birds”! Learn how to identify common winter birds and how your family can participate in the 2023 Great Backyard Bird Count. Get crafty and make your own birdfeeder to take home. Head outside to explore the exciting Jones County Wild for Reading StoryWalk® Trail then head back inside for hot chocolate and cookies provided by the Friends of Jones County Conservation and Nature Center. We will have a portable planetarium in which we will by able to view the stars, moons, sun, planets, constellations, and other galaxies.
