Job Summary
Jones County Solid Waste is seeking a strategic and experienced Director/Operations Manager to lead our operational team and ensure the efficient, safe, and sustainable management of solid waste services across the county.
Job Duties
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations including waste collection, disposal, and recycling program.
Develop and implement operational strategies and compliance procedures.
Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with county officials and community stakeholders.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications:
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in public works or environmental services.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards.
