Job Summary

The Jones County Secondary Road Department is accepting applications for a full-time Mechanic position out of the Anamosa Maintenance Shop.  This individual will work under the direction of the Shop Foreman, perform skilled repair work and preventative maintenance of Secondary Road Department equipment.

Job Duties

Essential duties include diagnose, repair, replace, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic parts and components in equipment, determine repair needs and replace according to standard trade practices.
