JONES COUNTY TREASURER’S OFFICE
SEEKS QUALIFIED APPLICANTS FOR MOTOR VEHICLE DEPUTY

Applicant must possess excellent customer relation skills and be an effective communicator.  Able to maintain composure and interact positively with the public under stressful and interruptive situations. 

Must be able to learn and retain the numerous laws, regulations, and special procedures involved in processing motor vehicle titles, registrations, and various official documents in an accurate and timely manner.  Ability to acquire a working knowledge of property tax collections and driver’s license issuance.  Computer proficiency in Windows based applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.  Must be detail oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task. 

This is a full time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefit package.
