Board of Health Vacancy

The Board of Health is a five member Board that is appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The BOH is responsible for safeguarding the community’s health and has jurisdiction over public health matters in the county. The five member Board does oversee two employees within the Public Health and Environmental Health departments.

Interest applicants should apply by February 17th. The application will remain open until the position is filled. 

Please note that this is an unpaid position. The Board of Health meets approximately one time every other month.
