Central Park Nature Center Fall Open House
The Central Park Nature Center invites community members and area visitors to its upcoming Fall Open House on Saturday, October 10, providing an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the season, connect with others, and discover the many activities and programs available at Central Park.
This free, come-and-go event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Central Park Nature Center. Guests are invited to explore displays within the nature center, enjoy the outdoors, and participate in a variety of family-friendly fall activities.
Special activities will include:
- Atlatl spear throwing
- Fall StoryWalk Trail Challenge
- Animal mask-making station
- Pumpkin sidewalk chalk station
- Other fun games and activities for all ages
Visitors can also enjoy delicious fall treats provided by the Friends of Jones County Conservation and the Nature Center. Pumpkins and gourds donated by Hall Heritage Farms - Pumpkin Patch.
This Fall Open House is a great opportunity for community members of all ages to spend time outdoors, experience the changing season, and learn more about the programs and recreational opportunities available through Jones County Conservation.
