Join Dubuque, Jackson, and Jones County Naturalists on October 4th for a kayaking adventure down the Mississippi River. Explore the Dubuque River front from Finley's Landing to Mud Lake Park.
This 7 mile paddle will take roughly 3-4 hours. Enjoy the beauty of autumn on the Mississippi River as you paddle below the beautiful bluffs of Iowa and Wisconsin.
Cost: $10/person for kayak rental. $5/person for bring your own kayak. PFD, kayak, paddle, and shuttle provided with rental cost. Shuttle available/optional for bring your own kayak.

OWLS - Pine Needle Basket Class

Join us on Friday, November 1st from 9 AM - Noon to try your hand at the lovely art form of pine needle basket making. Learn the basics of creating pine needle baskets. Make your own small pine needle basket to take home. Materials and instruction provided. $10 materials fee to be paid day of class. Participants must be 18 years old or older.
