UKC Elite Shed Dog Series Event to be Held at Central Park February 24th and 25th

posted on 2/7/24

Heading out to Central Park Feb 24th or 25th?  Check out the UKC Elite Shed Dog Series Event.  Onlookers are welcome to watch dogs and their handlers as they are tested and recognized in the retrieval of shed deer antlers.  Several courses will be running between 9 AM - 3 PM each day.   Stop at the Nature Center to learn more.

As stated on the UKC website  - The goal of the UKC Elite Shed Dog Series is two-fold:

  • the improvement of dogs used for recovering shed antlers by the recognition of individual dogs of outstanding merit.
  • to provide shed dog owners with a family friendly environment in which to enjoy participating in an activity that promotes an active, outdoor lifestyle for all individuals and their dogs.
