Invasive Species Field Day

Don't miss you chance to attend the Hawkeye Cooperative Weed Management Areas Annual Invasive Species Field Day being held this summer at Central Park in Jones County!  Come learn about the plants in your pond, forest, or prairie and how the 2020 Derecho may have affected how you manage your forest.  This event has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 15th  from 9 AM - 3 PM at the Central Park Enclosed Pavilion.  Dress for the weather, bring your sunscreen and insect repellent, and wear your hiking footwear.  Educational sessions will take place throughout Central Park.  Registration for this event includes snacks and a free lunch!  Please register by June 10th by calling or emailing Curtis Behrens at 319-462-0775 curtis.behrens@jonescountyiowa.gov   Please leave your name, contact info, and number of attendees as well as any special meal accommodation requests.  Click here to view a detailed brochure.
