Looking for a fun summer family challenge?  Head to Central Park to begin the Jones County Wild For Reading StoryWalk® Summer Challenge!  This season’s fun challenge is based on the featured book – The ABC’S of JONES COUNTY.

Complete all five quests to receive a prize and qualify to enter the Grand Prize drawing for a family prize pack to the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium.  To prove you have accomplished your quests you must take a group selfie at each location.  Quests include: 1.  Walking the Jones County Wild for Reading StoryWalk® Trail at Central Park.  2.  Checking out a book from any Jones County Library.  3. Having fun at one of the Jones County’s public pools.  4.  Visiting the Freedom Rock in Stone City.  5.  Shopping downtown in one of Jones County’s wonderful communities.

To prove your success and receive your participation prize visit the Central Park Nature Center. Nature Center hours are Saturdays and Sundays, 1-5 PM and during the week 8 AM – 3:30 PM, when staff are present.  For more information on upcoming events check out the Jones County Conservation website at  https://www.jonescountyiowa.gov/conservation/
