Mark your calendars for our January and February -OLDER WISER LIVELIER SOULS- Snowshoeing events! OWLS events are open to everyone but geared to adults who enjoy learning about the outdoors through a variety of fun educational programming.
Snowshoeing Whitewater Canyon will be held on Friday, January 24th at 1 PM. Join Naturalists from Dubuque, Jackson, and Jones Counties as we explore this winter wonderland! Dress for the weather and be prepared for a fun winter workout!
Our Snowshoeing & Chili Lunch at Central Park will be held on Friday, February 28th at 10 AM. Meet at the Central Park Nature Center. This Naturalist-led snowshoe adventure will traverse several trails at Central Park ending back at the Nature Center where we'll enjoy a light chili luncheon provided by the Friends of Jones County Conservation and Nature Center.
Bring your own snowshoes or reserve a pair when you register. Pre-registration is required for both of these events. Click here to select the event you would like to register for.
