The Friends of Jones County Conservation and Nature Center, led by Derith Vogt, played a key role in acquiring and holding project funds for the Wapsi Trail project.  With Jones County residents and tourists alike utilizing trails more and more every day, dedicated partners like the Friends of Jones County Conservation and the Nature Center, are essential to the public/private partnership needed to make projects like the Wapsi Trail happen.
