Think Safety! – It’s Hunting Season!

  • Know the area you are hiking - Both public and private - Is hunting allowed there or in surrounding areas?

  • Be Seen! Wear Hunter Orange (hat, vest, or pack cover)

  • Keep pets visible

  • Stay on marked trails

  • Hike during daylight hours 

  • Avoid hiking in hunting areas around sunrise and sunset
